Master of Science in Computer Science, Tsinghua University (September 2018 - January 2021)
Mastered Object Detection and Pedestrian Detection for Autonomous Vehicles using advanced machine learning techniques and parallel computing with PyTorch, OpenCV, and OpenCL. Innovated in depth estimation with a compact U-Net-like algorithm, outperforming the BTS model on the KITTY dataset in accuracy and efficiency on NVIDIA RTX 2060. Additionally, played a key role in enriching the department’s community, organizing events and providing translation services for international students.
Self-Driving Car Nanodegree, Udacity (November 2017 - June 2018)
Completed an advanced course in self-driving car technologies, focusing on machine learning, computer vision, and SLAM. Achieved a top-10 ranking in Lyft's road/car semantic segmentation competition, developing an innovative U-Net-like model using TensorFlow and training it on diverse datasets from the CARLA simulator. Successfully implemented autonomous driving functionalities on Udacity's car platform, utilizing ROS to integrate various perception modules, including camera, Lidar, and radar, leveraging skills in C++ and Python.
